Few days ago Art Minister asked the media to use the term swine flu (only?) to describe the "Mexican 2009 flu", the MoH responded by explaining why they stick to Influenza A(H1N1). The Art Minister then amended his suggestion to use BOTH swine flu AND A(H1N1) thus becoming Selsema Babi A(H1N1) (A(H1N1) swine flu).
I notice that RTM, TV3 and Astro Awani all take the Minister's suggestion. Haven't checked the Bernama TV yet but Bernama seems to stick with MoH. BTW, I checked all the "references" given by the Minister above and I notice their media too uses swine flu but not the health people. *shrug* Same here I think. *shrug* It's up to the media to take the suggestion or not.

Hello DeePo. :) My point is the medias are trying to confuse people by saying that Influenza A(H1N1) is the same as Swine Flu. Few of our Ministers are totally confused by all these. :D
