Feeling rejected: Several of the 4,574 students who had applied to the apex-status Universiti Sains Malaysia holding up acceptance letters that were downloaded online at the university in Penang yesterday.
Unhappy lot: Some 200 irate parents and students gathering at the university’s registrar’s office to complain about the technical blunder.

KY replied: It was human error they said... If they could shortlist those student, it means they were good but not good enough, qualified but not not qualified enough, ...
